The materials are found broken from a larger structure, from tower blocks and roadsides, and photographed as temporary sculptures. Once taken from the context of the building site, the piece is reverted back to stone in non-practical form. The piece is then broken down and reformed into a column or block, a raw shape that references the beginnings of classical structure and sculpture alike. The series is ultimately about the cyclical nature of materials and the values we place on form.
